How do I assign and publish a file?

This tutorial assumes you have already completed the steps to create your file.

1. Go to admin.policypassport.com

Login to your account.

2. Click on Files

Go to your list of files

Click on Files

3. Click on Status

Filter your files to show all unpublished files

Click on Status

4. Select Unpublished

Choose the relevant radio button to view all your Unpublished files.

Select Unpublished

5. Click on Save

6. Click the unpublished file you want to assign/publish

7. Click on Status

Unpublished files automatically will show a red Status button.

8. Click on Manage reviewers

You have the option to send your file for review. Reviewers will have the option to review the content, questions and groups the file gets assigned to. Each reviewer will receive an email notification and will then be able to give their electronic feedback on file contents. You may wait to receive the reviewer feedback before proceeding.

9. Enter a reviewers email address

Enter the email address of a reviewer if you'd like to send them your file for review and feedback.

10. Click on Submit

11. Click on Status to return to the status screen after assigning reviewers

12. Click on Manage groups

To show all your available groups.

13. Select your groups

Select the checkbox next to each group of users you would like to assign your file too.

14. Click on Update to save your groups

15. Click on Publish now

Clicking on Publish now will assign your file to all your selected groups. Users will receive an email notification the following morning.

16. Wait for your assignments to take place

It will take a few minutes for the assignment process to take place. Check back in a few minutes to view your updated file dashboard.

17. Click on Overview to view your file dashboard

18. View your file dashboard results

Your file dashboard displays a quick overview of your file status. Here you can also see how many people were assigned to your file and the completion status thereof.
